Afrobeats star Omah Lay has released his highly anticipated sophomore album, Clarity of Mind, now available on all major streaming platforms.
The 12-track project delivers a rich blend of Afro-fusion sounds and deeply introspective lyrics, further highlighting the singer’s distinctive style and artistic growth.
Featured songs on the album include Artificial Happiness, Jah Jah Knows, Canada Breeze, and Don’t Love Me.
Clarity of Mind marks a significant new phase in Omah Lay’s career, as he delves into themes of self-discovery, vulnerability, and emotional healing. The project reflects his evolving sound and maturity since his breakthrough into the music scene.
Omah Lay rose to prominence in 2020 with hit singles like You and Bad Influence, quickly earning a strong global fan base. Since then, he has continued to establish himself as one of the leading voices in Afrobeats.
Recently, the singer received a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance for his collaboration with Davido on the track With You, further cementing his international recognition.
Speaking confidently about his craft, Omah Lay described himself as one of the finest artistes of his generation, placing himself alongside Burna Boy.
“I’m the best at this. I don’t mean to brag, but I am the best in the last 20 years,” he said during a recent interview with Nandoleaks.
“When it comes to true artistry and making music, I stand at the top. The only artiste I sometimes put on my level is Burna Boy—he’s up there.”
With Clarity of Mind, Omah Lay continues to push creative boundaries, reinforcing his position as a major force in contemporary African music.
