Sunusi Musa Liman has been officially appointed as the Zannah Samnoma of Borno State, a prestigious traditional title regarded as the Chief Convener of Events and symbolically described as the “father of the state at large.”
The appointment took place at the Shehu’s Palace in Maiduguri, drawing dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers from across the state.
The title of Zannah Samnoma is a highly respected position within the traditional institution of Borno, reflecting recognition of Liman’s contributions to community development and public service.
Sunusi Musa Liman received his secondary education at Capital Secondary School before proceeding to the University of Maiduguri, where he obtained a degree in Political Science. He further advanced his academic pursuits with a Master’s degree from Nile University, Abuja.
Beyond his traditional recognition, Sunusi is also known for his active involvement in political and civic engagements. He is a co-founder of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Legacy Forum and currently serves as the National Coordinator of the forum.
His appointment has been widely welcomed by stakeholders, who described it as well-deserved and a testament to his commitment to leadership and service.
Observers believe that his new role will further strengthen cultural heritage and community coordination in Borno State.
